They should be deported. Just like any American would be deported from another country that we might be in illegally, no? Isn't that fair?
We are not talking about political asylum, just living and working in a country illegally. I think we have the right to say how many people move to our country, and if they are here they need to be supporting our economy and paying taxes like the rest of us. It is a huge drain on our nations economy. Not to mention small communities that have a hard enough time trying to assist the legal citizens that live there.
Police, hospitals, welfare, these are all costs we pay with our taxes.

Aren't the U.S. jails over crowded enough? lets face it despite the fact that illegal migration is not right, it is still not a crime that warrants jail because all illegal immigrants are not necessarily criminals. But lets keep it real the only reason that illegals are even imprisoned is because the prison system in the United States in now the number 1 money making business. I believe that deportation in itself is punishment enough especially for one that has been culturally simulated therefore unless they have actuallty committed a crime against any state of the U.S. jail is unnecessary.

Jail costs money and so does deportation. Perhaps looking at why people are leaving their home to establish another elsewhere is perhaps a more logical route to take. People have the right to survive and perhaps helping them will be less costly and more efficient way of managing resources. For the most part, illegal immigrants want to work and they want to contribute. Would we be less of character if the tables were reversed.

I think jail is the best way for keeping immigrants out. If they come here to make money, they can't do that in jail.
However, some might come just to be in jail, because it's better than they have it now!
Employers should also face jail and LARGE fines

If you lock them up in jail all you will do then is raise your taxes more because where do you think funding for the correctional facilities comes from. Then you will pay more money and you will start to pi** and moan. If you deport them you will still pi** and moan because then you won't have anyone to work in the fields, restaurants, construction, janitors, cutting lawns and many other jobs.

I thought that one of the main reasons for deporting illegal aliens was because they increase out tax burden. Now you want to send them to jail before deporting them?? Who is going to pay for their incarceration, the Mexican government? Send them a bill. I'm sure they'll send payment out immediately.

Why an American jail where they would live better and we taxpayers would still be footing the bills.Deport them but not at the border, take them deep inside Mexico and leave them,it would take them longer to try again.
Seriously they need to be stopped cold at our borders.
Enforced laws,action not rhetoric,no amnesty .
We are talking about Illegal immigrants Angel, not legal ones.
