I want to watch a video. No T.V watching, just movies

You need the wire that has the red, yellow and white plugs on both ends. hook one end into the tv and the other end into the vcr. Plug in both the VCR and TV and it should work

In this case just connect the cable that came with the vcr to the back of the vcr where it says video out (it is one of the thick threaded nobs) and the other end in back of the tv that says video in. And that should be it

Without TV, that's easy.
First, get a coaxial cable.
On the VCR, connect one end of the coaxial cable to the Video Out slot. The other end of the coaxial cable goes to the Video In slot on your TV.
