This is the best thing to do for curly hair:

First, mix, in the palm of your hand, hair gel, leave in conditioner, and hot water. Put it through your hair and let air dry (or blow dry on a cool setting with a diffuser) the curls will be nice a soft and not frizzy and in the way.

You should also tie your hair with a bandana when you sleep so when you wake up, your hair isn't straight in some places, or crimped with a rubberband ring.

Hope this helps!

it took me a long time to figure this out, but it really works and is super easy.

1. towel dry your hair.
2. use a frizz-ease serum. i really like citreshine because it smells good and makes your hair super shiny.
3. John Freida Dream Curls. It's a miracle product, I swear. It doesn't leave your hair all crunchy like gel... it leaves it soft and curly.
4. Blow dry 1-2 minutes.
5. Air dry the rest.

I have been doing my hair like this for about a year now and it's so awesome because it takes about 5 minutes but really makes a difference. curly hair rocks, man.

well i have curly hair too...my favorite products...garnier fructis curl enhancing mousse and spray gell. what i do, i only wash it every other day. so on wash days when i get out of the shower i put it in a towel, just for like a minute so it's not dripping wet. then i put a good couple handfulls of the mousse in, the amount would depend on how much hair ya got. then i just scrunch the mousse in for a minute or so and i allow my hair to air dry. now i shower at night so then in the morning to refreshen it i use some water sprayed on it, pretty lightly, and then i finish w/some spray gel. and whenever it's pretty humid or if it's getting frizzy, i'll spray some more gell on it throughout the day. that's it, i think it's pretty low-maintenance.

I have curly hair too and I use pantene Curl crunch spray gel which i spray into my wet hair and scrunch. i also use another product made by john freda with has sea salt in it and that I spray into my hands and then crunch my hair. I don't know about you but my hair looks great after a swim in the ocean. If your hair does too then I recommend getting something with sea salt in it.

FYI curly hair should not be washed more than two times a week. too much washing causes frizzy hair. If you have to wash your hair everyday because you use to much product or your products have to much alcohol, i suggest you change your products.

Well, u could comb it out, but leave it curly...not aggressive combing, then just rub in a leave in treatment, and spray it lightly. A lot of girls want styles of hair they don't have...that just means every style of hair looks good. Plug it in to google, u might get more tips there.

1. Make sure it's cut in a style that's appropriate for your face and weight.

2. Make sure you use products that don't weigh down your hair.
(I prefer paul mitchell)

3. Avoid too many chemicals. (they take the life out of your hair)

4. Use a good conditioner.
