Free, do it yourself. It's not as difficult as you might think. I installed a bathroom sink and faucet and it was pretty easy. If you go to your local home reno store (Home Depot) they offer free lessons on how to do it yourself. There's also a lot of DIY webistes out there that make it really easy.

My only words of advice are to dry fit everything first to make sure everything lines up ... and get plenty of plumbers tape .. that stuff is awesome!

I ran into some trouble and did make a call to a plumber to see what it would cost. They wanted $200.00 bucks just to show up, then, I think, $90.00 per hour. You can do it yourself in a matter of maybe two hours ... and the sense of accomplishment is amazing.

I've down those things. My charge is $35 per hour. Most Charge $45 to $55 per hour! If everything is properly prepared the job can be done in an hour and half! That's what it take me to do that job. There might be others that are faster! But faster isn't always good! You might want to choose to do it yourself by getting a book on installing the sink and faucet. You can borrow a book at a Library.if you don't mind read and working you can save yourself money! Or If you don't have your sink and faucet..get them from a place that also does the installing of them on your request and the installing charge will likely be less than if you have a sink and faucets. Some sinks come with preattached faucets.. I like these cause it makes the job easier! You can call different installers and get an estimate! My Estimate i$70 and usually I wind up charging less than my Estimate cause the more often I do the same thing the faster it gets down! I've worked for Kmart and Chapples in doing such installings!

You should ask him to itemise his bill and include how it is made up to this amount.
