How do we know the Greeks or the Romans or the Native American Gods weren't the correct ones to worship? How do we know there is only one God? Where is the proof?

There is no proof. People worship God because of "faith". Seems pretty silly to me. (I know I'll get thumbs down for saying this, but it's what I truly believe.)

As Mark Twain said, Faith is believing what you know ain't so. (paraphrase)

They are all the right God. The differing religions are just different cultures interpretations and understandings of the same concept. Humans, at this point in our development, can not understand the full scope of God. We are like blind men describing an elephant. One grabs the trunk and says it is like a snake, one touches the leg and says it is like a tree while one is feeling the flank saying it is like a wall. All have Truth and all are ways of understanding God yet not one is a complete understanding. Only the Spiritual Masters have come close to knowing God (Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, Lao Tzu). If you study their TEACHINGS instead of listening to what their followers tell you their teaching are, you find that they all say the same basic things.

The proof is in your heart. There are a million different ways to worship. It is in the heart of the believer that the truth lies. As long as you are kind and non-judgemental, tell the truth and pray, you are worshiping correctly. The proff of correct worship is in your life. Do you hurt others on purpose? Do you lie? Do you unfairly judge someone? Love the Lord with all your heart and do no harm and you will be fine...
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Do your best and search your heart...
God Bless

As human beings, we are guilty of reverse creationism when we create God in our own image. Religion is a means in which a group of people controls a society. It comes with a manual. Look around, look within, and simply call God, "God."

For me personally, I am Christian.

Throughout the Bible(God's Holy Word) it tells us there is only ONE GOD,not many god's to serve.Christ Himself said,I am THE WAY,THE TRUTH,and THE LIFE,no man can come unto me except the Father draw him.If there were many gods to worship and follow after, then God would have said it's ok to fall down and worship ANY god,but He didnt! Because there is only ONE TRUE GOD,God hates it when people worship false gods, which their are millions of them!

There isnt any.

Christians will tell you that that is what FAITH is all about.

I will tell you that that is why I chose my religion, because it has proof.

and I will also tell you that I do not know that my religion is the only true one, and that noone, no matter what they say, can. That is why I am tolerant of everyone else's religious choices. They just might be right.

There are many paths to heaven, but they all lead to the same place. Try meditation and prayer to quiet your mind, then just listen, the answers will be revealed to you. You will know the right answer when there is peace in your mind about it.

We really don't, we just have faith that the real God will understand(when we meet him) that we chose the best religion that made, not only sense, but fulfilled our needs...and that he should have given more proof.

There is no such thing as a God species of which the Biblical God, the god of the Koran, of Zoroastrianism, etc, is a subset. The term God in a purely philosophical sense is meaningless. The God of the Bible is not one of variety of a genus, or even one of a kind, he is one. Period. He is self-disclosing and will reveal himself through the person of his son, to all who seek him. Allow me to encourage you to read the gospel of John asking God to reveal himself to you through your study.
