The bible actually says that God is three (the father, son and the holy spirit). However, I don't think that rationality should be a factor because belief in God requires a leap of faith and not simple deduction - Just like anything of worth.

According to the Bible and God's commandments to us, there is Only One God and that is God the Father who's only son is Jesus. We do not have other gods. So yes, God is only one, because there is no other God.
Rational thinking, YEAH!!!

The bible lets us know that there is only one true god. The God Christians serve is in three parts, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. One God, three jobs so to speak.

i am not rejecting those who reject my great father...in my religion it is a sin to name other Gods than God himself...
i understand if you're not a catholic like me but if you are and you're rejecting him, you are not worthy to be called God's child...
I respect other religions and i do think rationally...

I agree there is only one God but for all the religions a better question would be how many names does he have?

I believe that all gods are the same with different names. You say that your god created the world. I say that my Goddess created the world. They are the same with different names.
And yes, I can think rationally. But if you dispute this simple reasoning,
can you?
