They are allies

well it's not a matter of should or shouldnt!!
the US/UK need Israel particulary in this region for many many reasons.
if Israel wasnt there the Arab region would have been one of the strongest Coallitions in the world.
therfore there had to be constant wars and conflicts to drain the economy the Arabs.
the US also needs a strong Ally in the region to have control over it. the region is rich with natural resorces and a very strategic location between the west and the far east which is good for business.

They shouldn't be. Israel has had the U.S. & Britain "hold its hand" since the end of WWII. LET GO! And stop using our U.S. tax dollars to fuel the Israeli war machine.
They were "given" that land in 1948 as a sympathy gift for the atrocities committed against them. And, then people are going to expect Palestine & Lebanon to just sit back and say, "Sure, go ahead, move right into the land we've been living on for years. We'll leave!"
I don't think so! The Arabs have a right to defend themselves in that region. The U.S. supporting and funding all of this Israeli sh*t is going to get us another a**kicking.

So that there is a loyal ally in the region where there we have interests.
However, there are plenty of pro-israel lobbyist in the washington. They will make huge influence on our policy toward Israel.

Supporting Israel is one thing, supporting Israel to do bad things is another thing.

My humble opinion.

They should NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Israel took over land in 1948 that belonged to hard working Palestenians who have had the land for many generations, why should we defend a country that shouldn't exist.

Because we have a common enemy -- radical Islamic terrorists who want to see both our countries destroyed.

Some people just don't get it -- these fanatics don't want to "dialogue" with us, they don't want to "make peace" with us, and they don't even want to "convert" us.

They want to wipe the USA off the map. They also want to do the same to Israel.

After 40-plus years of radical terrorist attacks, one would think that certain liberals in our country would warm up to this concept already. But, amazingly, they still don't get it -- and probably never will.
