I've always been pretty thin so I don't want a workout to loose weight but I'd be very grateful for anyone who could recommend a workout that would help get me started. I'm not big on cardio but would like to know a workout that would target my abs and legs. Thank you!

For anyone just starting to workout the most important regions for beginners is the core. The "core" consist of your abs and your lower back. These muscles act as the foundation to most every other lift, from triceps to squats. For the first three weeks or so do exercises to strengthen your core muscles. 2 sets of crunches to each side including the middle at 8-10 reps is good for starters. If you go to a gym, ask an instructor about a machine or free-weight exercises to help build your lower back. Once you have a fairly solid core, now its time for the rest of your body. Thats a whole nother topic :P

Hope that helps

If you're just starting to try to lose weight, you should probably start with walking. After a while, you can start running, etc.

Pilates is great for your whole core area. Most gyms offer classes otherwise there are plenty of DVDs you can try on your own.
