Anal sex is by permission ONLY. Barging in without reasonable warning is tantamount to anal rape. The ONLY way you would be able to do this is if she already likes BDSM, pain and hard sex.
Talk to her. Let her know, fully clothed, before you're making love.
And, do NOT make it a condition of your love. Anal is NOT something a woman must do "if you love me."

If you listen to the ones that say just do it, you'll equally as likely to get smacked as satisfied. You have to test the waters first. Next time you're going down on her, occasionally lick a bit south, see how she reacts. Upgrade to a finger on the outside, then the inside. If that all goes well, then bring up the topic with her when you're not having sex. She'll let you know if it's a go or not.

You could either ask directly which may freak her out or you might ease her into it (assuming she is willing) by using your fingers back there. If you put a finger back there and she screams and calls the cops, you better abandon the idea. Well just ask her, if shes says no than your asked out. I dont do it because ive heard it hurts bad, of course until you get use to it im sure.
