I am going to get a puppie that is part poodle part chiuahuah.

A poo-huahua is a new "designer" breed designed to give a fancy name to a mixed breed dog. There are also Puggles, and Labradoodles are many more "designer" breeds.
A mutt with a fancy name is still a mutt! It may be a wonderful pet, just don't pay big bucks for a mixed breed dog. I believe the scammy CKC will even register a mixed breed dog, but only for the purpose of making a profit from the ignorant.

If you think you are getting a pure breed, you are not. This is not a recognized breed by the AKC. You will not be able to show this dog in an AKC ring, or a UKC ring, and you will NOT be able to get papers on this breed. It is not a registered breed. It is a breeder that took a poodle and a Chihuahua and mixed them together, and is trying to sell them for pure breed prices. Don't get scammed by this. If you know all of this already, and still want to get one, then make sure that the mother and father don't have any health problems, and find out what the pro's and con's for both breeds. Good luck.

You'll be paying too much money for a mutt with a "cutesy name".
Go to http://www.petfinder.com and look at "Shelter and Rescue Groups" - both Chihuahua and Poodle rescues are full to overflowing with dogs needing good homes. Consider saving one of their lives instead of paying someone insanely stupid amounts of money to contribute to the overpopulation problem.
Nine animals each minute are killed in the US shelter system because of overpopulation. How many have died while you read this message?

Yes - it is a mutt. I'm guessing a poddle mixed with a chihuahua... I hope to god you're not talking about getting it from a pet store - they will rip you off!!!
For a mutt like this, you should not pay any more than $50-100 from a "breeder" depending whether it has its shots.
Do yourself and dogs in general a favour, buy a nice dog from a shelter.

Any reputable breeder would not have mixed breeds. Sounds like an owner that was careless. I can only imagine it will look like a rat with curly hair. Good luck, you might want to check the shelters for a pet in need of a good home if you are not looking for a pure-breed. Best wishes

I have a Yorkihuahua. Although they're considered designer dogs, they're still mutts. I got her from animal rescue. I paid $125 to cover the costs of spaying and her first shots.
