your *** would explode everywhere, but you wouldnt die it would just be messy. Birds however do not have the function of releasing wind so by feeding them a certain chemical they do actually explode

Interesting. It is possible to suffer from an obstructed bowel and not be able to fart, either because of a physical obstruction in or around the bowel (like a tumour) or because the bowel is not working properly (this sometimes happens after major surgery for example). If left untreated it is possible for the bowel to stretch so much that the walls get thin as tissue paper and can even develop holes. In the worst case scenario this could kill you. Not exactly an explosion, though.
Having said all that, I've never heard of it happening to someone just because they were trying not to fart or burp.........I'm guessing you just couldn't hold out long enough and there would be a leak of some kind!!!!!!!!!
