Do I have A bird?!?! I have a few...I've got 3 large tropical parrots, 4 cockatiels, 1 lovebird, 1 Lime Green African Ringneck Parrakeet....

I had a Pied Cockateil. He was such a pleasure and so much fun. He had the run of the house most of the day and liked to perch on my curtain rods. When I would leave the room he would follow me and perch on my shoulder for a while, then when satisfied I was going to be in one spot, he would head on back to a curtain rod. He whistled a lot of tunes, The wolf whistle, he had a high pitch whistle that sounded just like my microwave, he whistled to the tune of the Andy Griffith show and many more. He said words and small phrases too. His said his name Sammy, And would say hello every time the phone rang, Come in, and sweetest of all that just melted my heart..... Love you. He was smart too. I had him when I was dating my husband. When my husband (b/f then) came over... any time he would kiss me, my Sammy would give the wolf whistle. Another funny experience I had with him. While dating my husband, I came into the living room all dressed up for a very special date. Sammy gave the Wolf Whistle! My soon to be husband said, well Sammy beat me too it again!! Sammy has been gone now for a long long time. I sure do miss him. I don't want to get another bird to replace him. He's irreplaceable. I enjoy going to the pet shops and looking at the birds though. My favorite is really the Cockatoo. One time while visiting the pet shop, a Cockatoo said.... Take me home. I was sure tempted ;-)

I do know birds are cool but not all i have a parrot bird i love it so much because it is my pet if wishes come through i would wish my bird was a human.

Yes I have a 3 1/2 year old sun conure parrot and she is beautiful and so adorable. They are amazing pets to have. They are cute, funny to watch and very enteraining. My friends get a kick out of her the way she'll just fly around and land on my shoulder.

Jack.

Jack was my best friend when I was a lad,

I first met young Jack, when he was quite small,

But he quickly recovered and became quite strong,
So I carried him home, not knowing ‘twas wrong.

He slept in our shed, not allowed in our home,
Through the fields we would wander and mountains we’d roam,
‘Till the day I was told, ‘twas against the law,
To steal from a nest, a fledgling Jackdaw.

Yes! I have a pair of monk parakeet which I named Kiko and Kiki. Just got them for a month and now they can perch on my shoulder, They also like to follow me around the house. So adorable.

I dont have a bird, I wish I could have a penguin or two but thats impossible, isnt it???
I have a dog and three cats....
