are you asking for protocal's? Try the national comprenesive cancer network, these guys research the protocols. http://www.nccn.org/professionals/physician_gls/license_agreement.asp

You have to agree to guidelines
Pick the first option treatment of cancer by site
then pick Hepatobiliary Cancers (Hepatocellular Carcinoma is another name for liver cancer)

This tells you the protocal, how the diagnosis is made, surgery or not, and what chemo is best and combinations. This is the gold standard of care. Anyone who departs from this is not providing the gold standard

Bad news. Chemotherapy does not work well for liver cancer. If lucky, there is a 10% chance of response. Note I say "response" not cure. IF the cancer is small, or limited to 1 lobe of liver, it should ideally be removed. If the cancer is due to underlying cirrhosis, ideally a liver transplant should be done. If the patient is too frail to tolerate major surgery, then radiofrequency ablation should be done. If that too is not an option, then focussed radiotherapy should be considered.
Again, chemo should not be the first line of treatment if the cancer has not spread. If unfortunately it has spread beyound the liver, then u can try any number of chemos. Commonly used are Flurouracil and adriamycin. Both have respose rates of around 7-10%.

No drug is effective for cancer. chemo is poison to the body
period. The immune system kills cancerous cells. chemo kills the immune system. It's like shooting the cop that's stopping the bank from being robbed! T-cells kill cancer cells, they are covered with glyco-proteins. Increase the amount of glyconutrients in your system and the cancer will be gone in 2 to 3 weeks. Your immune system is what God gave us to fight off disease and sickness. We were not supposed to be dependent on chemicals to help heal us. 58 of the top diseases in the world have been reversed by taking glyconutrients.

liver cancer patients react to the same drug differently. the oncologist monitors a patient's reaction to a chemo drug before switching to a different one.

all of them cytotoxic.
