I currently am using DVD shrink to copy DVD's however it does not seem to work all the time. I have realised that there seems to be more protection against copying....any suggestions please?

you can use nero or dvd shrink. both do the same. but wot you need to do is to goto slysoft.com & download anydvd, this will copy any dvd, even those protected ones, then burn with nero.
any dvd will only rip it into your hard drive, burn it using nero or other's. like it , bet this gets you sorted , have fun . i know i am.
