Air can be trapped in a balloon. Can life be trapped in a balloon?
Yes, you will say life is a chemical reaction. Maybe God's a chemical reaction.
We still don't know what goes on in the brain to cause 'consciousness'.
God moves faster than light and it's a known fact we can't detect anything faster than the speed of light.
God is not made of molecules so a room can't hold him.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Black Atheist, than can be dreamt of in your philosophy. Or mine. Or anybody's.

There is documented proof of the existance of reincarnation, check out an ABC News report showing this documentation. Can any doctor put a soul into another body? Are you sure with the limited senses this body has available that you even posess the ability to understand matters of a spiritual nature? By the way, these are questions. What you gave is a statement and does not belong on this website! You should try meditation to quiet your mind, then you can listen for the truth to be revealed.

Well, if a person of God tells an atheist that he hates him/her, know that he is not a true follower. The path to God (aka religion) has as its underlying priciple, the concept of Universal Love, which defines the relationship the followers of a religion have with their chosen God and with their fellow beings. Hatred, I believe is not presribed in any of the religions.
Having said that, as an atheist you must understand that you are shallow in asking proof based on scientific method. The entire scientific method is built on the weak foundation of the senses and on what can be observed and measured.
Let me put this in another way, assuming you were the only one with the gift of eyes ie. the sense associated with vision amongst a world of blind people and you tried very hard to describe and explain to them the different colours like red, blue and green you see, you must understand that on the foundation of what they can observe they do not have any proof to validate what you are saying.
It is the same with athiests in that they are a sense short. And what that means, we know we exist as different bodies - commonly referred to as body, mind and spirit.
Is there a way for science to measure the way of the spirit? Can science measure love? Can science measure faith? To understand these concepts you must leap beyond the limitations of the senses and stop functioning from a physical and materialistic point of view.
Religion, in its true essence, is a path that enables man to make this transition. It offers a path for man attached to his body and senses, to transition into the plane of the spirit, where Love reigns supreme.
Science today is aware that energy is immanent in each and every corner of the universe, and that a not a speck in the universe exists without this energy. It does not take long for one to discern that this energy works in a very controlled, precise, intelligent manner and is not a random accident that caused the universe. A mere observation of nature will also enable you to see the myriad manners in which this energy exists in harmony and is life supportive. One may arrive at the conclusion that this energy is controlled. The source that controls this energy is often referred to as God by the various religions.
And since it pervcades everywhere and is capable of anything, nothing is beyond its ken and its power. The ability to transcend the physical senses and start a commuion with the source of this energy will also allow you to see some positive tangible benefits that seem to support the existense of such a source.
In order for that happen, one needs to make an assumption in a similar fashion to those that are used in mathematics when a theory or formula is postulated. That assumption in the spritual realm is called Faith. When one sets this assumption, called Faith in motion and start communing with the source of energy, the theory called religion can be proved based on the assumption each individual has taken on personally.
Good Luck! And really, dont take it from a believer when he says that he hates an atheist.

Look at a mirror and say, "I am a random quirk of nature. Whether I live or die matters not in the grand scheme of nature".
If you have children, look in their eyes and tell them that also.
Many people, myself included, do not believe that. There is much too much complexity, and near infinite creativity exhibited in the design of life. There is not one iota of proof of natural creation, for if there were, it would be a fact (I have a graduate degree in science).
“I think a man's duty is to find out where the truth is, or if he cannot, at least to take the best possible human doctrine and the hardest to disprove, and to ride on this like a raft over the waters of life.” -- Plato
Life is impossible without a creator.

Where did you come from??? Can science prove that??? It can theroize it, but it can't prove it. Do you have to see to believe??? Why can't you believe to see??? What if there wasn't a God, would you be here right now??? If so, how??? Science??? GET OUT!!!! Just like Paul said, "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." If you don't get my point, then you are free to think what you want to think.

I think you should differentiate between "God believers" and "God certaintists." I believe in God, I am certain that the keyboard I'm typing on exists. I am certain that wind exists. I believe God exists. I think there is a rather big difference between one who BELIEVES God exists and one who is CERTAIN of it. The "Certaintists" are the ones who try to "prove" it to others without and respect for the logical conclusions they have drawn to bring them to NOT believeing in God. Am I making ANY sense here?

'And those who have no knowledge say: Why does not God speak to us or a sign come to us? So said those before them, the like of what they say - their hearts are all alike. Indeed We have made the Signs clear for a people who are sure.'

us catholics are not just logic thinkers...you're thinking LOGIC not spiritual belief...
you're comparing air with God...is God air? D'oh, NO!!!!
of course we think!
God is everywhere...he knows our past, present and future...everyone complains that God doesnt love us when bad stuff happens...ask yourself this...is God the one doing the action or is it you?
The only comparison is that you feel the air blowing and you see its effects yet you cant see the real thing...the same as our God, he gives blessings and we see what happens after he gives it yet we dont see him do it...that's the comparison they're talking about...what the air does and what God does...

God is spirit and a spirit cant be seen, but His works can be. The parting of the Red sea, feeding of the 5000 with a boys lunch of fish and bread, a pillar of fire or a cloud to lead them, the burning bush, etc.
