This guy I was dating for several times said he wanted to stop seeing me after I left the country for 2 weeks and came back.
We had a chat, and noticed that he had his worries.
I knew he loved going out in a parties, but he said he might take some leagle drugs (xtc and stuffs) once in a while, and many of his girl friends had trust issues with him. He also thought because I have different morals in intimacy, if we had sex, I will think directly that he has to marry me.
I said, "I have my own social hobbies, and would also not be liked to be possessed all of the time with an insecure bf. You are close to 30 so you should know what makes you happy, and good for you, so I will never pressure you for forcing you out from the things you love. I just can't have sex with someone who's not in relationship with" He looked very happy.
He's in touch with me everyday since, very honest and caring. I'm just not sure if I should make the next step, or stay as a friend...though I feel love.

First of all I would say that if he is 30 and taking illegal drugs he is a mjor screw up for starters.........you should have that kind of behavior out of your system by late twenties. He doesn't seem like you and him are on the same page and why would you want to be with someone who is doing illegal drusg in the first place......you could get yourself in a bad situation with the law if around him and he is using, possesing or distributing. I would look for a man that has better morals and values.........oh yea.......and common sense!

If other girlfriends had trust issues why do you think it will be different for you?
Sounds like you know a lot about him; is he the kind of bf you want? Do you think he will be different with you?
Sometimes if you sound unobtainable it can be very attractive to a man.
My advice would be to wait and see, dont sleep with him yet. See how long he stays friendly and only do it if you really want to.

Stay friends with him and don't chat with him so much, maybe once a week. Stick to your morals. Love him from a distance.

Stay as a friend or get away form him all together. Are you serious? Why would you want to be in a relationship with someone who parties and does drugs. Find a better guy please.
