It is the LOVE of money that is the root of evil. Anybody who loves money has not really accepted Jesus as Savior. So it is a part of the whole.

So many people get that verse twisted that it's not funny! The Scriptures says that the LOVE OF MONEY,not money in and of itself,IS the ROOT OF ALL EVIL! Why is there wars? LOVE OF MONEY! Why do people murder others? More than likely, the LOVE OF MONEY! Money in the RIGHT hands, you can do a whole lot of good with, but in the wrong hands, millions if not billions of people may die! As far as not accepting Christ as Saviour and Lord, the Bible says there is no forgiveness for those who continue to reject Christ.

The love of money is the root of all sorts of injurious things... not evil as you would imagine it. Some translations or versions say evil, but it doesn't mean evil in the sense you are defining it.
Also, just because someone doesn't accept Jesus it doesn't mean they are evil, they may be ignorant, blatantly misled by others, or just obstonant, not necessarily evil.

The root of evil is misunderstanding.
Everyone wants to be loved and accepted, but sometimes we hurt others because we don't understand each other. Understanding prevents this hurt, and forgiveness fixes it.
The Bible says that the LOVE of money is A root of all KINDS of evil (NIV). Money itself is only a tool. "Loving" it indicates personal values like materialism and a desire to control others.
These values are a misunderstanding. They (not money) are contradictory to true spiritual growth because they ensure attachment to this world of matter, which is only a temporary state.
Part of spiritual growth is learning to break our attachment to the material things that get in our way of understanding spiritual things--which is what makes our life here better.

Money is not the root of evil. The love of money is said to be at the root of all evil.
As for the second part of your question: Not every person will be born again based on your own personal beliefs. Don't expect it. Don't demand it. You are in no position to dictate right from wrong.

First Money is not the root of all evil, It is the love of Money. Most people leave the word love out of that quote.

Root of evil is not accepting Jesus as your LORD. If you accept him and submit to HIM he will help you to keep your life in divine order. Money is like a fire. You need to use and not let it catch hold of you.
Some verses from the written WORD of GOD. I Tim 6:10,11
10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things;
and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
God Bless you,
Edwin.

Neither. Human nature is the root of evil, although the modern state has perfected the process.

Neither....pride is the root of all evil. Most sin when you truely look at it you will see pride at the heart and essence of it. Everything stems from pride. Not accepting Jesus is not the root of evil it is the reason we are not saved.
