Something to think about is that this cashier may be just as nice to others as well. Its a great sales tool to make you feel special like the only one she smiles at... but on the other hand she might really be into you... So just introduce yourself by saying My name is _______ I come in here a lot and wondered what your name is... Better just start with the 1st name otherwise she might think of you as something else.... A stalker or something.....

Put a note in the suggestion box about having the cashiers wear name tags. If they don't have a suggestion box, you could phone to talk to the manager to compliment the service of this cashier and drag out the conversation in such a way that the Manager says," You must be talking about........!"

I completely agree with just♪wondering. I worked as a cashier in a grocery store and had several men approach me with pick up lines. It was so creepy. I didn't want to give out my "real" name to those guys who straight out asked me. I had a nickname I used while working there and my coworkers called me that name all the time.

1- Look at the receipt if you have one
2- Ask her name, then go find a manager to tell him/her what a great cashier she is. That way, she'll think asking for her name was purely for professional reasons.
3- Now you know her name, use it! "Hi, Julie! How you doing?" See if she asks your name, or you could offer it- "I'm Bob, by the way."

Yes! Good thing you asked us man. She hates being called the dark haired, pretty girl. She would've really kicked you in the nuts if you had said that. Instead, tell her that you usually refer to her as, "the girl I want to bend over the checkout counter but I'm too scared to say ask out because I'm a big p-ssy". It should work out great for you two if you follow my advice. Good Luck.

That's cute. :)
Yes. It will probably make her uncomfortable - but, do it anyway.

The prize is SUCCESS.
Now, tell her the truth:
Hi. My name is ___, and, I have a little crush on you. I'm not looking for a date/ Im not ready to date... but, if I knew your name, ya know, something besides "pretty girl", :) then I could/would ask you if you just wanted to hangout sometimes...

Ur not ready???.....well approach her and talk to her in a friendly fashion, and try to invite her do fun stuff and become friends......but be careful....some times becoming "really close friends" fks up a relationship from the beginin' an then u can kiss good bye any intentions of been intimate with her......but then again she might like casual sex with her friends (kiddin').....or just become friends with her.....it's better a friend than a stranger.......ur not an eunuch r u???

You could tell her you'd like to know her name so you can tell her boss what a great job you think she does. That would make it seem a little less personal, more business. You don't want to come across as a stalker!

Maybe you could sneak a look at her badge. Most cashiers have name tags.
