As I understand it, although Mary bore the child it was not from Joseph, the child came from God and thru Mary's body. The nationality of Joseph was jewish. So when Jesus died on the cross they put the sign above his head as INRI which said "king of the jews". Now whether God wanted Jesus to be a specific race or nationality the bible never says. However Jesus was dubbed a jew because of his earthly father.
The Holy Ghost made all peoples understand the bible because he was the translator (tongues of fire). When peoples of all nations understand about the bible it's natural then for Jesus to become the color of the race who are the believers. All I know for sure is that Jesus was a fisherman and exporter and spend a lot of time on the seas traveling. Their boat had no cover so I figure Jesus was well tanned.

Being a Jew means you are of the Jewish faith. Period. It is not a race. Christians come in every color and size- Can you say that Christians are a particular color or have a certain type of hair? What you suggest is profiling of a very troubling nature. When will people learn that race is only skin color- an adaptation of where one's distant relatives were born. Blacks and darker-skinned people have an ancient history of life in a sunny climate. Their dark skin was developed over time to give more protection from harmful rays. The fairer skin developed to help absorb more vitamin D from a climate with less intense sunshine. So his skin was bright as bronze- maybe you have only met Jewish people whose ancestors were from fairer-skinned countries like Germany and Russia. Believe me, there are plenty of Jewish people with with ancestors from Italy, Greece and the middle eastern regions who have skin that would never be defined as white. Have you ever even seen someone from Syria? Jesus was a Jew because he was raised as a Jew. Seek that truth!

First where are you getting this info? Second the Genaily of JESUS is diffenly Jewish both thru Mary and Joseph. Thirsd White is a color no matter how you put it is not a texture. Where does it say that he has Skin as bronze? Could it also mean HE had a very good Sun Tan.

You quoted from John 8:44. So, here is St. John 8:44
"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
Or, did you mean 1, 2, or 3 John? None have an eigth chapter.
So, where do you draw a correlation from John 8:44, where Jesus speaks of the devil, and the color of His skin and hair?

Guy the passage you were referring to is in Revelation and it is describing a glorified Jesus in heaven not one on this earth.
Jesus was not in anyway black. He was an olive skin Hebrew. Look at the Romans depictions of the Jews and you will see what Jesus was like on this earth.
Read the bible from the way of the truth guy. God bless and all who learn about the Messiah, Jesus.

There is no Jewish skin colour or definate look; they typically blend in with the country they live in. American Jews and Israeli Jews look quite different. The fact that Jesus was a jew is not challenged, for it is known. The question then is what does it mean that he had (what you think to be) "unusual colour." You should know that at times kids have different skin colour. You don't suddenly assume you children to be of a different religion for being somewhat modified.

Jesus was a Jew...He had dark skin.He was "plain looking" therefore there was nothing special about his looks to make him stand out from anyone else. His race was all darker. They lived in the freakin' desert.Unless he was an albino (which is not likely ) His hair was n't white while he was on earth...Thats in Rev. Read the Bible.

Can you take this out of any more context than you already have? What does Job 8:44 have to do with any of this. If you read the context to which the verse was written you would see that Jesus was speaking to people who are not of God but of satan.
2Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
Jesus is every bit a jew. He was born of jewish parents, everything in the bible testifies to Him being a jew. Please provide where you are reading about His attributes so we can gain some understanding here because what you have claimed is so inaccurate.

Your scripture quotation is completely wrong.
You didn't even quote what John 8:44 said.
John 8:44 is talking about the devil being the father of lies.
Go study your Bible some more.

Assuming Jesus existed at all, we know nothing whatsoever about him, including whether or not he was a Jew. Everything about him in the Bible is so intertwined with myth and legend there is no way to tell where the legend ends and history begins.
