Educate yourself. Learn the risks of having sex, pregnancy, all the different forms of contraception, and read all the symptoms, and stories from people who have STD's. Learn from their mistakes. Why should you do this yourself? Because it's your life, why should you entrust something as important as this to anyone else?

Then when you feel like you know all you need to know, go for it!!

Whoever said waiting until marriage for sex was a good thing never compared experienced lovemakers with virgins. Either that or they lied. Sex is like any other skill, some people have more talent than others, but it always takes practice to get good (and every sexually active person in the world understands this, so don't sweat it your first time).

There is no virtue in virginity for the sake of virginity in spite of what a bunch of ancient goat herders wrote. They viewed women as property to be bought and sold, and virgins were deirable to them to ensure they wouldn't inadvertently be raising some other guys child, and to ensure their women would be disease free (they didn't understand what disease was, but they were aware of the cause and effect relationships between sleeping around and deteriorating health).

But now we have contraceptives and condoms. We also have modern medicine to identify people with incurable diseases and cure other diseases. So these things don't matter so much any more.

If your a true Christian,Christ WILL GIVE YOU SELFCONTROL,it's one of the fruits of the Spirit! Is it good to be a virgin til your married,YES! But more importantly,it is a COMMAND to abstain from ALL sexual sin until your married,as the Bible says! I'm a 39 year old female,Bible thumper to boot,and I'm a virgin,and proud of it! I dont want to hurt my Lord and Saviour by sinning against Him! Furthermore,i'm not trash,and i dont give myself away to a fella who just wants to use me for a couple of minutes,i'm worth more than that! I dont have a "too elevated or inflated" view of myself either,i believe i'm worthy because Christ makes me worthy,not trashy.

I believe that anything that creates life is nothing but miraculous. Sex is not a sin, it is the creation of life.

Otherwise god would not be perfect, he would have sinned when he created life.

It's like any appetite...If you eat too much you will get heavy. If you can't control your sexual appetite, it can seriously complicate your life even leading to out of control addictive behavior.....If that means not having sex until you find your mate for life, then you may avoid some of the potential pitfalls.

in the bible it says that when you have sex with a person you marry them from thats moment on! when you sleep around that is wrong but if you find someone who is worrthy enough to receive you then it is something that you want to do because you love eachother!! it is one thing to hop in bed with anything because it is "fun" but it is wrong!!
