In fact the Pope has memorised the Bible. He first did it at the age of 3 1/2 (in German) and now can recite it word for word in 8 different languages. Currently he is learning it in Tzaquli. He is also able to mime the entire New Testament including The Revelation.

I guess it shows how the Quran was written for simple minds that a 6 year old can memorize it.

Whether or not the Holy Father has memorized the Bible is completely irrelevant, knowledge of what is contained in it is far more important the being able to spit it out line for line.

**
Oh, so it is supposed to be easy to remember. . . Still not impressed - if it is SUPPOSED to be easy to remember, why should I be suprised that a 6 year old can memorize it?

Come on, my son has several songs memorized, his alphabet, can count to 20, knows colors, shapes, animals, all construction equipment, all emergency response vehicles, 8 different airplanes (military), and the entire Catholic Mass (when to stand, sit, kneel, pray, the sign of the cross, and what to say), and several daily prayers. He is only 3. That is impressive to me.

Interesting, Then I guess your koran tells them to blow them selves up and kill any and all that are not muslims as your clerics say , That is a sure way to your heaven with your moon God allah and his three daughters Al-uzza, al-lat and Manat and let us not forget allahs wife the sun goddess. Many people believe allah is an Arabic name for God. it is not, allah is the name of the moon god who was one of 350 idols on the cabbah. Until mohammad narrowed it down to 5 and after his death 1.

Oh , the pope , he probably has , but so what. he is a man. What does this have to do with God

allah is not the God of Abraham , allah is the deme god of pagans. in this 1200 year old religion.Have you killed yet to prove yourself to your god?

nice try

How's that for Muslim brainwashing it is pretty disgraceful to have drummed all that dogma into a child's head before they are capable of thinking for themselves...madrassas beat the Quran into young children, they learn through fear of punishment and that's how most Muslim's continue their lives living in abject fear , the quran is a pretty simple book so I'm not overly surprised many people remember it by heart.

I memorized "Morris has a cold" when I was a child, and I found it to be about as probable as both the Qur'an and the Bible, despite the fact that Morris is a talking moose....

what a total waste of time for that poor 6 yr. old. memorization is not important. it's the study and interruption that matters.

and no, i'm not impressed someone made their child a robot

you should try memorizing the dictionary.

Memorizing the holy books of any faith does no good for the soul if it is not lived. The devil himself knows the scriptures from cover to cover and what good has come of that.

Memorizing is not important, acting in a Godly way, is.
I don't know abou the Pope, ask him yourself.
I dont pray to the Pope. he is just a person.
I pray to Jesus Christ.

The Pope isn't even a Christian. Why would he memorize the Bible?

In Christ,
