Plan be is a pill that you can take if you have unprotected sex and it will prevent you from getting pregnant! Plan A should be a condom and plan C is usually an abortion

I dont support unprotected sex I would encourage any girl to pactice abstanance but the truth is they dont and they do get pregnant and maybe Im wrong but I think Preventing a pregnancy a few days after sex is far better than waiting three months when the baby has a heart and is truly a little person. Its not right and I dont believe I would ever have a need for it but I would encourage any woman who could be pregnant and doesnt want it to hurry and get this before another baby has to die! It doesnt prevent Aids or any other STD thats why girls should use protection I dont think anyone is that stupid!

I agree with you and I think many of the people are missing the point of plan B, we are not talking about a plan A or plan C we are talking about something better than plan C, and it called PLAN B why are people missing this point.

If Plan B was an abortion pill, women would never get pregnant on Seasonal or other similar hormonal birth controls. It's the same hormones in a higher dose. It does not cause an abortion. It has a failure rate, too. If you take it too late, guess what, you're pregnant. It does not harm the fetus if it's taken after implantation. It does not cause the fetus to dislodge and a subsequent abortion.
With that said, approval for women over 18 is a step in the right direction. The "How to enforce" arguements are trivial. Condoms don't have a minimum age requirement, TodaySponge doesn't either. You don't need parental concent for these.
Sex is a primal urge, just like eating and breathing, after puberty hits. Saying "NO, BAD." doesn't stop it from being a primal urge. Teenagers don't know how to control these urges yet, and trying to shame them or keep them uneducated doesn't work.
If abstinance education worked, my graduating class wouldn't have had such a significant number of pregnant girls through the last 4 years of school, and I went to highschool in BFE Arkansas, where blacks and asians are still chased out of town and theres still christian clubs.

There is no plan C called abortion. If you do not want babies just do not have sex that is way too simple.
Only females 18 or over can buy Plan B without seeing a doctor...those under that age will need to see a doctor but no one under that age should be having sex anyway.

No I am not happy with Plan B. There are way to many irresponsible girls out there. If you are old enough to have sex be old enough to take responsibility for the consequences. Now is like open season for them because they have nothing to lose. They can easily take a darn pill, so the amount of unprotected sex is going to go up, so the amount of diseases will go up. How can you be against abortion but support a Pill that it does the same thing kills babies.. This world has become immoral and that is very dangerous because everybody needs boundaries.

YES! I'm glad you realize Plan B is NOT an abortion, many pro-lifers have tried to brand it as such. For those who don't know, it's a large dose of birth control (like the pill) that prevents ovulation, thus stopping fertilization from taking place.

I think its excellent. So long as its actually taken right after sex and not a week later AFTER conception.
Beats the socks off abortion.

Personally...I think it a good thing...although I do think peopole shouldn't have accidents...people just aren't as safe/protected as they were before. Maybe because they know they can just have an accident and go get it fixed? I don't know...
