The "big three" religions--Judaism, Islam, Christianity--have a certain knack for brainwashing people. Their promises appease the selfish ones--they act all good with the sole intent of going to Heaven.

sounds to me like he was playing with you. A lot of people want to change countries either for more money (to send home) or for bad things and they try to convince our citizens that it's love when it is not at all that. Sorry to hear you got involved in his scam. Seems he was never the best of persons. Move on with your life, it had nothing to do with you.

This is usually the way that it does happen and that is because they have not a love for the truth and God gives them strong delusion that they believe a lie.It is in the book of Romans.Anyone that loves the truth cannot be deceived.

Normally human beings can change , sometimes to better, and viseversa. Also opinions can change also. Faith is rarely changed but it happens with so many.
Again if that person is important to u , u can resume contacting for mutual interest , at least to understand what changed him? etc...
best of luck

WORD's are POWERFUL.
They have LIFE or DEATH in them.
They can Build you UP or Tear you DOWN.
Word's should be Chosen Carefully when you go to SPEAK.
Word's should be Chosen Carefully when you go to LISTEN.
Free-Will, chose Carefully.
Don't know why he came back Different.
Hope this helps.
