use Dawn dishwasing liquid. It has an ingredient in to cut grease off dishes and will remove the oil from your hair. My hairdresser used it on a girl that put a whole jar of vasoline in her hair and it took her three washings to remove the grease.

Try a dish-washing liquid like Dawn or Palmolive. (Like everyone else said!!!!) But, make sure you don't put too much because you might strip the natural oils out of your hair and cause some breakage/damage. After that wash your hair really well with a strengthening shampoo and conditioner or an anti-breakage shampoo and conditioner.
They say that baby oil night help, but I wouldn't try that because it will just put more oil in your hair!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Use a little bit of hot water to begin with and then really shampoo the heck out of it. Water and oil don't mix, so you might have a hard time getting it out if you use a lot of water at the start before you apply the shampoo. But after the first shampoo, use as hot water as you can stand. And then shampoo, shampoo, shampoo.

Dawn dishwashing liquid is the best for cutting grease. After using it, condition your hair because it will remove every bit of the natural oils in your scalp.

I'd shampoo twice first, but if that doesn't work try dish soap. Also make sure your using warm water when you wash and cold when you rince. If neither works try putting something like starch in your hair to absorb the oil then wash it.

Dish soap is made to cut grease. Use it once or twice and let it sit on your hair to "eat" the oil. There are grease cutting products for the kitchen that you could use, too. Good luck!

You might try some Dawn dishwashing detergent, and then once you've removed most/all of the oil, your normal shampoo.

just keep shampooing with purifying shampoos so it will clean the veg. oil out, but keep your natural oils in
