Hi. Since Nov 2003 I seems to have an internal prompting 'of making my dream come true' as repetition of words from TV, newspaper etc kept prompted me. How do I know it's from God, as I'm not too sure if this is just from the Devil or I'm too sensitive. Ppl always say check the bible but can u illustrate with an eg? Help!

This is what I have learned to know how to tell if God is leading me or talking to me,The Holy Spirit possesses characteristics,the are written in the word in the fruits of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22
If you follow the fruits you cannot go wrong.
As far as an opinion this girl lives by the word period.

if your dream is to do something that might conflict with God's teachings about how we should behave...it's not necessarily in what you do but how (like becoming a billionaire isn't bad in itself, but most people can't behave properly once they become one) there are several right paths for your life and quite a few wrong ones too. it's not all about destiny or finding that one true goal that you were "meant to do". look at your God-given talents, what can you do with those? but be sure that whatever you do glorifies God. i mean ask yourself, would this make Him proud?

That small, still voice in the back of your head. You must be still and listen, if you want to hear the voice of God. Turn OFF the TV, radio, etc., and read your Bible(KJV).

Test everything with the Bible and see if it contradicts it or not. If it does its not from God.
