Satan
In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

I wanted to be the first to answer this question, and no matter how hard I try I can never be the first to answer a question. That is cause Satan messes with my computer.
I always type like crazy to answer a question before anybody else, and every time Satan comes and messes with my keyboard, and makes funny noises to distract me. It is very angering. I am very angry against Satan.

Anything that would be a temptation to us. But dont get me wrong when I say we are still in the flesh and sometimes its not satan who tempts us, but it's us who gives in. Alot of folks think that when we get saved that we become perfect, well little do they know. We still struggle with the flesh, and the mind.

By making them think he really exists! People don't want to believe that they can be evil or do bad things so "it must be the devil" that made me do it. It's kind of like what's going on in todays society... my son didn't kill those people, it's the gun manufacturers fault for making the gun... it must be McDonalds fault that I'm fat, let's sue them... it must be McDonalds fault that I spilled my own coffee on my own lap in my own car, let's sue!

Surah II: 216 – “Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know.”

Surah IV: 104 – “Be not weak in pursuit of the enemy.”
