Because they're scared. Scared that their faith will be undermined. Scared that they'll lose their power. Scared that it's all a sham.
They're also hopelessly closed-minded.

A link of Pat Robertson (including video) calling for the murder of President Chavez is attached. Pat made the statement as an excuse for stirring up trouble with Muslims. The statement was denied by Pat Robertson (which is LYING), but intense media pressure made it so that he had to apologize.
Why do they want to kill Muslims? Because it is that "onward Christian soldiers" thing -- "praise the Lord and pass the ammunition", that sort of thing.
They are self-righteous bigots who selectively ignore the commandment given by God, "THOU SHALT NOT KILL".

I haven't heard "kill all Muslims". I do recall Pat Robertson advocating the assasination of Hugo Chavez, but only because it caused such a stir--not folks I would listen to normally.

Christian fundamentalism. It's like the analogy that was made about Muslim fundamentalism--it doesn't represent the population's feelings on the whole, just as the KKK does not represent how Americans feel about blacks.
Plus, those are really bad examples of Christian fundamentalist leaders. Think about Waco, Texas and other cult-like situations for a better representation.

Pat Robertson is just an ***. Please excuse my language. He is crazy. He says that Ariel Sharon deserves the stroke he got last year and he says that America will be hit by a tsunami because we are all supposedly sinners and he isn't, according to him. That is not true, because many Americans live by God's code and have very religious lives. He also hates Muslims. I don't think he likes anybody but himself. I think he got prostate cancer for being a pain in the ***.

those absolutely everyone isn't Christians. they're basically company those who cater to the flavor of their clientele. they have talked about (inclusive of Ann Coulter has talked about) their market phase and serve up what the folk want to hearken to. This has no longer something to do with believe or Christianity and noticeably no longer something to do with love-thy-neighbor. that is basically company. They stay of the rankings and the business. of their e book and their speeches. once they have considered that the (grotesquely uneducated) majority of the yank public responds to xenophobia, they seized the prospect and fulfill their clientele. so user-friendly as that.

100% of all terrorist acts are committed by Muslims
100% of all deaths related to terrorist acts are caused by Muslims
Muslim Koran says to kill everyone who is not Muslim, starting with Jews, then Christians then everyone else. It is their religion to kill, kill, kill until everyone in world is Muslim.
They cut people's heads off with a saw and put it on film and Internet. They blow up buses and markets and many places where people go, families go. They are creating a world of violence and they are coming to the US to do the same.
I think the good questions would be, Why do Muslims want to kill you?
So why are you bashing people who are talking about stopping all this useless blood shed and killing of innocents and not bashing the people who kill, rape and torture daily as a way of life and who are plotting to blow this country sky high.

They don't. They just see some muslims views and their beliefs as incompetent and violent like other believers of God do. Not just those in leadership see this.
