I think some men are lazy when it comes to being a lover, and only want to get off with their lady.

On the other hand, I think many men (like myself) deeply desire to actively pursue and engage in a romantic and intense physical relationship with their wife/girlfriend, but their partner does not understand this desire, or even have a clue what to do.

I find that continuous rejection, in spite of years of romance, kindness, and seeking to satisfy her, results in a lack of desire to even want to continue things.

I think that in general, individuals have a different capacity to give and love, and a different appetite to receive love, in various ways. The trick in life is to find a partner with roughly matched capacities and appetites, so that each can enjoy satisfying the other. When things are mismatched (like when a guy has a low capacity to give love, and a high appetite to receive it, compared to his female lover), the perception can be that someone is lazy, non-responsive, etc.

No one can speak for all men, but I know that I give as well as I get from her! If she is a "lazy lover", then I'll lose interest and sometimes not even bother finishing, just get up and leave!

Not all men are like Al Bundy or According to Jim.

If a man truly loves his wife (and vice versa), both would be wonderful lovers regardless of which phase of the relationship.

No i think they just don't know how to be good lovers. They don't know what us women want in a relationship so they have to be told.Poor things!
