You know if your life is back on track if you are not taking any illegal drugs or alcohol to get through the day and if you are happy in yourself. If this is not so then i recommend visiting your gp and describing your symptoms of mood if low to them then they can assess and give you the correct treatment and or counselling.

This question can vary from person to person. Does money make you happy? or is it peace of mind?
In my life, I have always set goals as to where I want to be. I look at these goals frequently, and as I make them, I set new goals to strive for more. Certainly if you have set goals, you then are moving in the direction you chose to head.

when you still see a sign of hope, then you are still on the right track. Also, never give up, make your own moves and not just rely on someone else.
