We actually are a bit more complex than that. But you asked about a specific thing, so I'll answer that. What do men like to see? Evidence that a woman is interested. That sounds overly simple, but ultimately that's what it's about. The sexy clothes, the come-hither look, any of the other things that can be interpreted as signs that a woman is interested in or open to sex. Men in a public setting are turned on by the girl in the low-cut blouse and the short skirt because her clothes make them think (or at least hope) that they have a chance. The lover behind closed doors ogling his lady as she struts about in a lace teddy is receiving the message that she's up for some action.
In short, we like to see what makes us believe.
