Black Dehlia murder was solved! A man who was their main suspect for years left evidence of it in his estate, and his son turned it over to the authorities about a year ago I think. Pretty sure they closed the case.

Interesting that no one has mentioned the Simpson case. Must be we all agree that we know who did it even though there was no "guilty" verdict. He may have gotten away with it here but certainly not in the hereafter.
