should i buy a 2000 nissan altima from the dealership for $7000. Is this a good deal or am i being ripped off?

Nice car a bit expensive for a seven year old car. It would have to be truly exceptional and absolutely new tires to pay that price. Remember used cars won't fiance well. If you borrow money buy a used car. The new car department has a 2006 altima with warranty and repay with a seven year loan. It could end up costing you less monthly

I think that $7000 is a very good offer and the miles are quite low for the year.

Not with 50 k miles on it look around somemore that sounds more like a 30 k mile price! Keep shopping!

Maybe stop asking so many questions here and go find someone who can actually SEE the car to help you out. You can hire people to go look at a car with you and tell you if it's worth it or not.
