when i ask questions relating to islam and when i see non muslim quotes "bad quotes" etc... they do not understand that translation isnt considered the quran but its the acutal arabic text you need to know the arabic to understand fully what is being said and when they quotes versus eg something like "kill the unbelivers...." why is it that they dont read out the previous part before they read that quotes and leave out relevant info and then make islam look bad when its not, and when you are trying to proove islam is wrong i am happy to give an email which is askislam@aol.com and send these quotes from quran that you are not happy with or anything you wanna challenge shiek yusuf will answer them giving you professional answers with proper references that you can check or to make a better understand visit his site http://www.islamalways.com and he clears up so many misconceptions you guys have.weather your muslim or not .

muslim invite you to their religion because it is an obligation it is called "dawah" inviting now u can choose to accept or not. but our job is to send the message that there is one god worthy to be worshipped and prophet muhammed is his messenger.

i know there are people out there that hate muslims because of terrisom etc.. but let me quotes some thing the cat stevens said who became a muslim later "if i met muslim before i met the quran i wouldnt have become muslim" now thats a pretty big statement guys, think about what he is saying

I agree with u they get most of their sources from anti-islamic websites which are obviously gonna give u incorrect information and translations of the quran and hadith, really it's ridiculous the amount of people that get their translations off prophetofdoom.com that site really does giv eu incorrect translations, if ur gonna quote the quran go to a book store like waterstones and buy a real translation which is translated by a scholar who knows and understands full arabic and then read the WHOLE quran!!!! Otherwise DON'T quote it!

The quran itself is full of mistakes. So many claims that islam has the original one, yet there were MANY draft copies to begin with, that eventually got folded up in to one....more than 150 years AFTER muhammed. Then they burned all the previous orders and anyone who would be caught with anything but the new and improved version would be killed. To this, islam refutes that there were thousands of men who had memorized the quran and is how it kept its original form, but they put themsleves in a circle by doing so. These islamists believe Adam was not made as a perfect human in the beginning (contrary to the REAL truth) and say that NO man has ever been perfect. So now, they depend on these thousands of men to be able to memorize an entire book, and remember it all correctly word for word. You can take a table of people in a line, whisper something in their ear about two or three sentences, and have them whisper it in the next person's ear. By the time it gets to the end of the table, it is vastly different from the original. So, for the quran to TRULY be original.....
1. All these thousands of complete book memorizers would have to be perfect so as not to distort even a single word from one to the other.
2. They would have to have lived to be over 150 years old or faced the difficulty in finding other "perfect" humans to pass the memorization to.
We know neither is true.
Islam continually goes around in circles.....
Proving Allah by the Qur'an and then proving the Qur'an by Allah.
Proving Muhammad by the Qur'an and then proving the Qur'an by Muhammad.
Proving Islam by the Qur'an and then proving the Qur'an by Islam.
Round and round you go!!!
We have already taken the quran out of the picture as to its claim of being the original unchanged words. The defense is GONE!!
On a final note...
Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born. What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god.

If only the Arabic is valid, then you are committing sin by discussing your religion in any language other than Arabic.
Personally, I do accept such a claim that it can only be understood in Arabic. If that were true, communication between Arabs and anyone else would be impossible unless all discussions were in Arabic. This is clearly just a red herring devised to divert criticism.

It is the same with all religious documents, to gain a true understanding you must learn to read them in the original language...for christianity it's ancient greek (as this is the laguage it was first written in)...for judaism you need to learn biblical hebrew...islam, arabic....see the point? A translation is merely giving the "spirit" of the original, and thus contains all of the biases of the translator.

You are wrong. One's knowledge on any religion depends not on the re legion one belongs to. It is one's devotion and interest to sincerely know is important. He obviously first learns the language in which the original is written. You may come across many non-Muslims knowing the language the Quran is written in go on discussing the Quran in a much better way than the way many Muslims do.
