I am looking for a romantic place in Philly to take my fiance that has great steak. It doesn't have to be a steak house, but I would like it to have a nice filet mignon or something like that. Any help is much appreciated.

The Capital Grille hands down for the best atmosphere, service and food. Excellent cocktails, you need a "Stoli Doley," and amazing dry aged beef. The menu has tons of other great stuff and daily chef's creations if you lady is not into beef. They are right on the corner of Chestnut and Broad. Definitely recommend reservations. These are just some of the nice things that people are saying about this restaurant: Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Winner of “Best of Philly Steak House 2004,” “Best of Suburbs 2004" and “Best Steak House,” MSN.com poll

dude ... it is your woman. Forgo the "steak house" and go right for Le Bec Fin. If you are marrying her, she is worth it.
