Whenever I add a new song to my itunes, an exclamation icon appears on the left hand side of another song, then itunes won`t play the song or songs that have this icon next to it. I have around 590 songs all up, but now when I add a new song, this problem occurs. Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

When you add music files to itunes it remembers which folder or where you added them from...if you move or delete the files from that location after you have added them to itunes that is why itunes cant find them.....In essence you dont actually put the file into itunes....it is just a link to the file!!

I don't know why it is happening but the icon means iTunes cant locate the file in the iTunes music folder.
