Nope, as long as religion persists fundamentalism will as well, in Christianity as well as Islam.
Jihad isn't terrorism... the term Jihad means "struggle." Only some Muslims apply this word to what we view as terrorism (the struggle against infidels). However for Muslims on the whole Jihad has a much more benign nature. Jihad, for example, could be the struggle against a sinful nature... an internal struggle, a struggle for peace even. Leave it to the ignorance of American media to vilify a word they don't understand.
The root of the problem is religion. Once that is taken care of we will have far fewer problems in society.

No, not all of them. Their beliefs are too strong, but we can potentially get a lot of them to.
We'll have to prevent the younger generation from turning to extremism and wait for the current ones to die of old age. That's the only way we'll eradicate the extremism altogether.

NO!!!! The FUNDEMENTALISTS want an ALL MUSLIM world, like Hitler wanted an all ARYAN world.
