Some people are diagnosed as blind because of their far-sighted capabilities. Some can see well enough to drive, but with certain objects close to them they need assistance to ascertain what it is. Far away is fine, but close up it is blurred. Also astigmatism causes them to see objects as blurry or not in focus.
I once dated a girl who is blind and realized that blind is sometimes a generic term. She can see pretty well during the day and with sufficient light, but her visibility is diminished in the dark. Many people do not believe she is "blind" because of her functionality.

well, because some drive throughs are acessible for people who walk as well. If you walk up to a drive through, you can still use it. Blind people may be able (perhaps with the help of a dog) to get money by walking up....of course not driving up!!

Blind people, like everybody else, need to go to banks, and such. So they have someone take them, a friend or relative. Then they can conduct their own business and not have to have the person they are with do it for them. Blind people are people just like everyone else.

No. Someone can drive a blind person to the teller, allow them to get out, walk up to the teller, and use it.

No not really, depending on where you are at. Blind people who drive have special instruments in their vehicles to help them drive, scary in a way isn't it.
