I didn't break it, Hurricane Katrina did but now I live in it, sad and desolate. My region, my hometown, our historical past and our lifestyle. Also quite a few hearts are broken around here. But we are putting it all back together now.

I set my dryer on fire once, it was an accident. It was an older gas dryer, and squeaking. Someone told me to just spray some lubricant fluid on it where it's squeaking, so I did. Unfortunately, it was running at the time (how else could I tell when I got the squeaky part?), and the spray kinda caught fire. Singed my hair, burned my eyebrows off. I was lucky the whole house didn't blow up and kill me.
