We have been given the spiritual gifts of God, according to First Corinthians chapter 12, verses 8-11:
"For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills."

Yes it does. Some ministers have the gift ot intercessory prayer which is special and God can still heal if he wants to. The answer isnt always yes. My parents died young and someday I might get to understand why. This life is only a drop in the bucket.

It still exist, and it is still powerful, mentally, physically and spiritually.
I think we have got to open our hearts and minds to it, so that the power can flow through us, the bible speaks of the elders in the churches annointing the sick with oil today.
There are still many stories today of people being healed, you just don't hear about it as much, because it is usually dismissed as something else.

It never end with the Apostles, it is in existence in our day. I t all depend our faith and position today, Jesus Christ himself said it that all those who put faith in Him will do greater works than He did - John 14:12.

It was not supposed to ever end....It is a spiritual manifestation and it disappeared, because people follow religion instead of love.
