Possessiveness is similar to being jealous.... you need to control everything about the other person, their friends, their job, stuff like that. Its an awful trait to have... If you have it, i suggest you get over it quick, or else you will ruin any relationship you are ever in.

It's like treating your loved one like they are your private property. You have to know where they are at all times and hold on to everything that you do. Your a possession and not a person.

it means they are trying to control you ...i have dated this man and he is so jealous over friends and computer...anything that takes me away from him...that is ridiculous and it does ruin a relationship...love is not jealous or selfish...they should trust you and let you do things with your friends and do not think they own you....i hope you understand what i am meaning....

possesiveness for me is getting much into the situation/relationship..its like giving in to much that it ends up controlling the other person/party..
possesiveness can lead to undesirable effect/problem
