EVERY religion has their problems and problem people... how do you think we got so many religions around the world? When someone doesn't believe their religion is going the way they think it should... they break off and create their own with their own ideals. Then they find suckers to join and the snowball effect comes into play.
Muslims are not violent people... just a small fraction are. Take a look at JW's, Scientologists and other cults in the US. They may not be violent but they have some pretty screwed up ideals compared to "main stream" religions. Do you remember in 1986 when a group of religious nuts went into a cave and killed themselves as Haley's comet passed by? Maybe you are too young or weren't born yet but do you know what their resoning was behind their mass suicides? They were waiting to have their souls picked up by the aliens riding in the tail of the comet. Where did that idea come from?

Please do not assume something you are not sure of. I am a Muslim myself and proud of it. How do you know we want to force our beliefs on everyone? Have you ever been friends with one? Have you ever SEEN one before? Of course we want to be treated like friends. We want to be treated like normal people, because we are. We're capable of killing, hating, plotting, and committing suicide, you say? Well, aren't all other people? We're capable just like anybody else, but not forced to. Our religion is a religion of peace. Islam is another form of the word "salam" in Arabic, which means "peace". Read up more about Islam, and see what you will discover.
What you see on TV, through the media, or through some of your coworkers (possibly) does not have to be true. The killers who are Muslim are a shame to our community. We do believe in places like heaven and hell, you know. A virtue every Muslim hopes to attain is peace; just like kindness and doing good. You say we commit suicide. Our religion makes suicide "haram", in other words forbidden. One who commits suicide will not have a pleasant afterlife.
Killing is most definitely not "glamorized" by our religion. Read the Quran, our book, our bible, and you will find that those who kill others will have no way out, no way of escape. They cannot repent, and are no longer considered to be true Muslims.
There are many different sects in Islam. A very small percentage of Muslims, one very small sect, may be the sect that promotes violence. That sect is considered by most to not even be Muslim, and have no right to call themselves Muslims.

None of what you say is true. Muslims are just like Christians. Killing is a sin in Islam, just like in Christianity. Forcing to convert is not right as well; on the contrary: Only Muslims allow Jews and Christians in Heaven.
Yes Muslims are capable of doing the things you said, just like everybody else. But they are not encouraged to do that, they are condemned by Islam.

I a Muslim, and Proud to be, I don't agree of any violence against peaceful people whom are not Muslims. that's what My islam calls for, and I appreciate what you feel, I don't blame you but I wish you get to knwo the truth,
and if there are attack against Muslims they must Attack back or it will be weakness, like if someone wanna attack your home, Will u stop watching him? or defence?

Because this is not all Muslims. Many of them are peaceful people, following a religion no less peaceful than Christianity. It's only the hateful ones who get press time, and this has happened to every religion since mass media descended upon us.
ETA: Sikhs are the ones who wear turbans as a religious symbol.

because i'm not a criminal and i should not be treated as guilty until proven innocent!!!
it's why many muslims fled their countries that are ruled by dictators and came to the US.
why should it be OK to treat someone as a criminal when he/she is not one??
plus ALL of the above statement is not true. you need to get a better understanding of what Islam is before you criticize it and INSULT it's followers.

because the dont want to take responsibility for their actions, they are not in the same millennium as civilized society. To them the world stopped in 700AD and they want us all to become ignorant vicious sand monkeys
M Thurston just so you dont seem too much of a fool , if they have a turban they are Sikhs, an off shoot of Hindus who have been fighting Muslims for over 1000 years and incidentally warned the USA about bin laden. Not too smart.

It's a simple question to answer. muslims are cowards and only act tough. They can only fight unarmed women, children and civilians. If they had to fight a real war where there are rules of engagement they would just hide in their caves and cry till mommy came to breast feed them.
