People change. YOu like a person for who they are. If who they are changes, then what you liked before is not there anymore. You might think your high school boyfriend was awesome in high school but when you're 10 years down the path, you might not like the person he was in high school.
Find out who you ought to be, live by it and someone will like you that way for a long time. HOwever, this is difficult because people are always learning and changing their views on life. Do your best.

Relationships change and grow. In long term relationships the passionate, desperate love you feel gives way to a calmer, deeper love that actually makes you feel a whole lot more secure and happy. Other times, the feeling of love can fade away because one or both of the partners neglect to work on the relationship. People change, relationships change... but if you work on it, the love won't die away, it will become stronger and more fulfilling.

Love doesnt fade away it is the couple that let the love fade away.
My love for my bf hasnt faded away it just keeps growing day by day. Even for my parents they also say the same thing they have been married for 38 years and they tell me that they couldnt be happier. I love my bf we've been together for 2 years and even thogh you might say thats not long enough i love him with all my heart and it has not faded out even through the fights we've had. Let your self be happy give yourelf that opportunity do diff things try diff places dont let love pass sometimes its too late.

Because it was not love to start off with. that is called infactuation...Love is when you actually stay with the person when the good times/feelings has faded away!
Im sorry but some people realise this much too late..hope its not too late for you.you must just be willing to make it work!

Well to tell you the honest truth if it's meant to be it will be. You see some people think that when they get involved with someone they could make it last forever, whereas some people when involved in a relationship are only there to teach you what you don't know so if the love dies move on.....

Loss of interest probably. Perhaps your love towards the person isn't as strong and passionate as you thought it was.
Sometimes, I do feel the same way as you. And honestly, I too need suggestions.
Maybe you could put in effort to what you deem right in your relationship.
(sorry, i use the word "you" very loosely. don't get offended.)

love fades away becasue the people let it. If you love someone and I mean really love them, it would hurt you to the point of where you almost feel in pain at the thought of not loving them anymore.
