Aren't all babies cute? Why do people pass out and keel over like they've ssen one of the seven wonders of the world when they see a mixed baby? My sons are Chilean, and they are very fine, handsome boys. But, when people see my white friends half black children, they act like they've just seen Jesus. What is the fascination? They are kids, like any white, black, chinese, whatever. Even when the kid is ugly people will just go on and on just because it's mixed. It's stupid.

I've noticed that too. It's amazing how over the top some people can be over my son who is Asian/Caucasian (who is extremely beautiful IMO). I noticed this especially with elderly people. I think it is because it is a novelty to them. This wasn't as common when they were young and was often frowned upon - so I think the more open minded ones are just enjoying what they were missing.
Also I get a lot of comments from other mothers with similarly mixed babies - it's like they think we are in some special club or something.

I don't think they are any more cute then other children. I think it is a fad. It was so taboo in the past that it only attracted people. I personally don't think many babies are ugly... but if it is ugly I wouldn't rave about a cute baby!

Nou are right...All (most) babies are cute!!! But let's be honest.... there are certain characteristics that a Caucasian, African American, Asian, or native American. etc have that stand out and are truly beautiful. When a child is "mixed" sometimes it's like getting the best of both worlds (sometimes not)
I'm sure your sons are "hotties" but spend time thinking about their inner-beauty (it is what is most important anyway!)

it's not that the child is mixed but if u notice mixed children sometimes have a complexion or features that r unique as opposed to the ones u see if the children aren't mixed.. but i think what ur saying is most def true.... my son is mixed and everyones like omg he is so cute, and adorable and look at his hair and it makes me a lil uncomfortable cause i don't want him thinking he's better than anyone..
although he is cute...

you know i really dont know an answer to that unless its because if we dont make a big deal over the baby like all the other cute babys we would be seen as a racist.Or it could be the childs complexion that makes people go gaga

I don't think all babies are cute. There are definitely some really ugly babies.
I don't agree with you when you say everyone thinks mixed babies are so cute... My opinion is it depends on the baby...color shouldn't matter.

hi, I think every baby is cute even mixed babys are cute. some people are just picky when is comes to some races.i think mixed poeple are not ugly and are not stupid at all.
