Just tell him that it was stupid to do it but you called him and hung up a couple times. It might help if you make it seem like you wanted to talk to him and then lost your nerve to do so. Tell him it won't happen again and that you are very sorry. You can get in trouble, not major trouble but trouble all the same. If he doesn't press charges then you will be fine. He could press charges for harassment. Just let him know how sorry you are and that you won't do it again.

he might be able to get a restraining order against you - Like a no contact one where you can't call him and you can't write him and stuff.
I would call him (cooperation and showing remorse will go a long way into maybe not getting charged with harrassment which is a criminal offense). and just tell him the truth. Lying would be stupid as they can get phone records and prove how many times you called.

It's a bluff. You don't have to "fill out" anything or talk to anybody. Just refuse to make any statements and pretend you don't know what they are talking about.
'Someone" is trying to scare the hell out of you, that's all! You haven't broken any law, unless you made threats on the phone.

Just tell the truth. You called your EX a few times to talk to him, but each time he picked the phone up - you couldn't get the nerve up to talk to him... You called several times, but just couldn't muster up the guts to say sorry to him.

if you really didn't say anything, i wouldn't worry it about it. you really don't have to talk to them if you don't want , but if you refuse to cooperate, they could haul you in to question you. seems like a lot of trouble for a minor thing. if it was my daughter, i'd tell her to do what they ask and play stupid, cuz that's exactly what it is........

If you threatened your ex in anyway, that's a terrorist threat and you'll be doing time. If it's just harrassment, you'll probably get a restraining order.
