I work with this guy that I know was interested. He had started coming around a little more than usuall and speaking some. I am very shy and it takes time for me to open up. But tonight at work he didn't do anything, could he have lost intrest that fast. This has been going on now for about 3 months.

Yes. It takes either something gross (bad personal hygiene for example), bad attitude (ignoring guy while with other people), or just a better opportunity (hotter/friendlier girl available) elsewhere.
It could be him not you.

after a while, I'd give up too.
stop using your shyness as an excuse. You enjoyed the attention of him coming around night after night, without having to so anything.

evey guy is different i know that i dont lose intrest overnight, he prob. thought that you are not intrested in him. go to him talk to him. then when you are comfortable tell him how you feel.

Yeah, that happens to me! I like to keep people at a distance, so I lose interest real fast! Maybe it isn't you, it is them!
