Does God really exist?

Yes, he does exist. Many people do not think God exists because there are so many wars and diseases in the world. I have to ask people who do not believe in God this question; If you had a child who wanted to do something potentially dangerous such as skateboarding, would you let him do it? I bet you would. He would be enjoying himself. If he made any mistakes, he would learn from them. You see, God does not want to mollycoddle us our whole life, just like any father would not want to mollycoddle their kids. God wants us to learn from our mistakes. Now, I talk about the Bible. The Bible is a book that has been proven to be true by many historians. It has codes it it that have successfully predicted the John F. Kennedy assasination and the Robert Kennedy assasination. It has also predicted that the US would drop a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, Napoleon becoming ruler of France, and the rise and fall of Hitler. I saw this on the History Channel where historians confirmed what I am saying. This means the Bible is true and that God is real. The Bible talks about a man, a man named Jesus. Jesus has also been proven to have lived. Archaelogists have come up with many ancient documents from Jesus's time talking about Jesus's life and His teachings. The archaeologists ran many tests on them and confirmed that they were indeed from the time of Jesus. In the Bible, it says how Jesus once claimed he was God's equal, leaving two possibilities; 1. Jesus was crazy. 2. Jesus was telling the truth. Don't you think he would be telling the truth? Jesus was an educated man who was also a teacher. Teachers have to be smart and know what they are talking about. Jesus could not have been crazy, or the Bible would say he killed people and loved war. Jesus was the opposite. The Bible, and hstorical documents have all said Jesus was a peaceful man who only got mad twice. One of these incidents was when he stormed into a temple and toppled all the furniture and trashed the place. He did this because for one or two possible reasons. 1. The temple took sacrifices from goats and Jesus hated any animals or people dying. 2. The temple took a lot of money from the citizens of Nazareth and Jesus thought the people should be able to keep their money. He did not stay mad for long though. Now, we'll discuss God. There are many scientific things that people say definitely proves there is a God. One thing is that the world has perfect dimensions. The second thing is that we are a perfect distance away from the Sun. Any closer, we sizzle, any farther we freeze. Scientists have proven this. Sice we exist there are two possibilities. 1. we had a beginning or 2. we did not have a beginning. The Bible says that "in the Beginning, God created heaven and hell." "God" has never been concretely defined. It means too many things to too many people. Therefore, in meaning everything it can only mean nothing!

Not until "God" is defined can God truly exist. That's why we are compelled to "believe" in God, because belief substitutes for knowing when something doesn't exist.

"God" is only a three-letter symbol, a pointer, for that which is greater than us - the ultimate ground of our being*.

God first made man spirit in His image then put that spirit into a body. If you exist, then since God made you in His image, He does exist! Praise the Lord!!

Just look around! Thank God for the beautiful way He made our bodies, the air around us, the trees, birds and everything!! Just because you don't physically see Him or understand everything about Him doesn't mean He doesn't exist. I can't see air but I know it exists! I don't quite know or understand how an airplane can lift off the ground or how an air conditioner works but they do.

This world points to a loving god, not a million years where some-how ever-thing worked out to make this world. So, yes. Yes I believe in Jesus. There's no other way it could have happened

If you believe something does it exist? Why believe or put faith into something you don't know. It seems more prudent to rely on yourself than on a higher power as you know for certain that you will act as opposed to waiting.

God in a sense where he is an old white man with a beard, no.
A creator of the universe, a powerful force or energy. A force for good, of course I believe that.
The big bang theory means nothing to me. It can't be proven and who created the big bang anyway?
The Christian version of God is a tall tale.
