Native: "Is a woman lusting for another woman some how worse then lusting for a man? Is this what you are talking about?"

No, I was not trying to grade sins.

I was trying to understand how Christians link homosexuality with lust (ie a choice), as opposed to seeing it as part of what someone is (like skin colour).

Consider that a woman seeking lust, would have no difficulty finding it amongst males. A woman who chooses homosexuality faces persecution and a much more difficult time finding a partner.

So, if lust (a choice), there should be no lesbians, as it is much easier to satisfy lust with men.

So why do Christians link homosexuality with lust? It makes no sense.

I hope this helps you understand.

Because you were challenging thier religion.

That doesnt go down well with the Christians, they are totally unstable when it comes to critizism.

I think your problem is you are trying to categorize sins. Is a woman lusting for another woman some how worse then lusting for a man? Is this what you are talking about? If so then I would say the answer is no. If you lust after anyone other then the person you are married to then that would be just as equally evil. Is that what you wanted to hear. I don't think it matters either way because when a person sins that is between them and God and not for us to scale on the "Sin-O-Meter"

Matt 7
"Judge lest ye be judged"

I think you've writ more into your questions than needed.

Anyway, fornication is fornication Whether it is homosexuality, premartial, bestiality, adultery, etc.

Sexual activity outside of God's guidlines is a sin.

If you chose the newer definition of 'lust', it is acceptable between married couples. A man and his wife could long for each other.

Your mistake is believing the only Christians are giving you the answers. Just because you directed you stupid question to Christians does not mean the jews and every other nut out there might drop in an answer just to get two points. Please remember that every one in Yahoo! answers are lazy jerks, (yes, including me) who should be working instead of waisting company time and money by answering dumb questions that 99.999999% can be answered by just looking on the Internet them self's.

most are blinded by taking offense first and that bias' their ability to preceive the proper meaning.

although: perhaps a proper forming of the question would help. i read the link and there is certainly room for interpetation in your sentence.
