Ok OK, I got the message that the caffine pills are bad. But what am I gonna do to stay awake at the computer today??? It can be very hard to stay focused because the job is kind of boring. The pills kept me alert. I don't want to make the mistakes I was making before I started to take the jet alert pills. I need real answers.

The answer about having a good protien breakfast is a very good suggestion. When you have sugars and carbohydrates for breakfast it spikes you sugar and energy levels for a couple of hours and then the sugars level out all of a sudden and leaves you with that sluggish, sleepy feeling. And if you're not sleeping good at night maybe you should see your doctor about it. You could have a sleep disorder of some kind. If you're a serious snorer you will have no energy to stay awake. Good luck.

How about sleeping better, You can become caffine addictied!and that actualy deprives your body more and everytime you take that jolt of caff to wake up and recharge, the harder your body is going to crash when it comes off the caffine high! (experience!!!)
Then you can get caffine headaches and your body becomes dependent on the stuff, then withdrawl MEGA HEADACHES will happen when you quit the caffine. Sometimes if your tired you may be dehydrated! Drink lots of water, and non caffine fluids.
If you exercise , that usually increases energy. Have a breakfast with protein in it.. rather than sugar and carbs! If you feel bored, then get up and walk around, do little errands at work. Go get paper, check the mail, frequent bathroom walks, a little socialization. Good luck!

Take a good walk during your coffe brake. Another one at lunch time. Eat a peice of fruit and some low fat cheeze when you feel tired. Drink vegetable juice like V8.
If you walk at least 30 minutes a day, eat lots of vegetables, take some B complex vitamins AND get at least 7 hours of sleep you should'nt be tired.
Good luck!

If you have brief breaks during the day, which are dictated by law, try a power nap. Five to ten minutes will leave you as refreshed and energetic as a full night's sleep.

You need to talk breaks. Intensive screen work is bad for the eyes. I believe there are little exercises you can do to help the eye strain
