Frustration from my job......my last raise was 1 year and 7 months ago. My boss says the money just isnt there.....but I'm the office manager and I do the payroll and cut all checks...so I know what comes in and goes out. And every thursday..I cut him a check to paly poker on. The worst part is...he is also a county councilman...and his wife works for the county....so he is responsible for making sure she gets her raises every year...but forgets the cost of living for his employee......any thoughts or suggestions....I've been year for 5 years....and other than the money isse right now...and his lack of concern for me...the job is great...I have freedom to take off work when I need to..so quitting really isn't an option...but I am still conflicted.
