What does sinning have to do with it?

I honestly wish people would finally get that God really isn't concerned about our sin, He just wants a relationship with us. The sin will die off if we just keep our eyes focused on Him.

A saint can sin and a sinner can do saintly things.

In the Greek, the Word we translate Saint is also translated Believer in Jesus Christ. So all believers are Saints.

All are sinners, but we are forgiven. Our Righteousness is as Filthy Rags, but we have the Righteousness of Christ, so we become as if we had never sinned. Not by our works, but by His work on the Cross.

Saints refers to a body of believers who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. This is a term used by Paul to describe his fellow believers in the various churches. The meaning is different from the word saint we use in today's context.

Jesus is the atonement for our sins. God, who can't look at sin, looks at us through Christ's perfection and sees us as saints. So, even though Christians are just as much human sinners as everyone else, God sees us as saints because of Christ.
